I picked up the first book in the Worldwar series last week at a used book store. Damn good read. Now I need more.
Just bought 2 & 3 off ebay ($6 shipped for both books ). I read bits and pieces of his other series too - I have to start tracking down others.
He continued the Worldwar timeline into a Colonization series too I guess. I'll have to find them too when I finish Worldwar.
I read "Guns of the South" a month ago. Basically "what-if" the South had superior arms to fight the North, with a bit of time travel and modern day racism thrown in.

I'm a bit of a book collector anyway. If I read it and like it, I want my own copy. I my want to read it again in 10 years.
Thanks for the offer though Andy.

Ever read any Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child stuff? The movie Relic is based off one of their books. I've been reading anything of their's that I can get my hands on.
