And can't stand the pain on the shoulders....
In a few day some parts of skin will start to separate from the body. I will feel like a lizzard....

I'm exhausted... I need a super-jumbo-grande-coffee to get me moving...the sad thing is the weekend blew by like it was only 1 day...
Um, I think Peeks is enjoying this meat tenderizer thing a little too much.

Andy, was it you that read the Worldwar series by Turtledove?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, a great alternate history sci-fi series. You read Turtledove's other stuff don't you?Originally posted by KillerKanuck?:

I picked up the first book in the Worldwar series last week at a used book store. Damn good read. Now I need more.
Just bought 2 & 3 off ebay ($6 shipped for both books ). I read bits and pieces of his other series too - I have to start tracking down others.
He continued the Worldwar timeline into a Colonization series too I guess. I'll have to find them too when I finish Worldwar.
I read "Guns of the South" a month ago. Basically "what-if" the South had superior arms to fight the North, with a bit of time travel and modern day racism thrown in.
Aw man! I could've sent you my copies, dude!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Damn, you read fast! Those aren't exactly light reading either.Originally posted by KillerKanuck?:

I'm a bit of a book collector anyway. If I read it and like it, I want my own copy. I my want to read it again in 10 years.
Thanks for the offer though Andy.
Ever read any Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child stuff? The movie Relic is based off one of their books. I've been reading anything of their's that I can get my hands on.
